IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. - 97-025 (1313-C) <br /> ORDINANCE ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 14 <br /> TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PLAZA 2 <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA RELATING TO THE <br /> LAND UTILIZATION PLAN FOR THE PROPERTY AT THE <br /> NORTHEAST CORNER OF DAVIS STREET AND <br /> SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD <br /> Section 1: The City Council, by Ordinance No. 67 -62 (December 26, <br /> 1967), adopted the Redevelopment Plan for the Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project Area, <br /> and amended said Plan by Ordinances 71 -23, 74 -17, 74 -14, 79 -39, 31 -019, 82-093, <br /> 83-026, 85 -049, 36 -039, 38-013, 94 -029, 95 -05, 95 -06; and <br /> Section 2: The Redevelopment Agency is seeking to redesignate the <br /> northeast corner of Davis Street and San Leandro Boulevard on the Land Utilization <br /> Plan from "Residential or Office" to "Retail Sales, Office Facilities or Residential." <br /> Section 3: A notice on Proposed Amendment No. 14 to the Redevelopment <br /> Plan for the Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project Area has been prepared and mailed to all <br /> affected tasting entities, in accordance with State Health and Safety Code § 33344.5; <br /> and <br /> Section 4: The City of San Leandro Planning Commission adopted <br /> Resolution No. 97. finding that the proposed Amendment No. 14 to the <br /> Redevelopment Plan for the Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project Area is in conformance <br /> with the General Plan of the City of San Leandro, in accordance with Health and <br /> Safety Code § 33346; and <br /> Section 5: A mitigated Negative Declaration finding that the proposed <br /> Amendment No. 14 will have no significant environmental impacts has been <br /> approved by City Council Resolution No. 97- 025 in accordance with the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and • <br /> Section 6: A Report on Plan Amendment No. 14 to the Redevelopment Plan <br /> for the Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project Area has been approved by City Council <br /> Resolution 97 -_ in compliance with Health and Safety Code § 33352; and <br /> Section 7: The City Manager has recommended approval of said Ordinance; <br /> 1 <br />
