t <br /> IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96- 014 (2603/1413) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 -14 -100 <br /> OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING <br /> TO DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> Section 1, Section 4 -14 -100 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 4 -14 -100 Discharge of Firearms: No person shall discharge any firearm <br /> within the City of San Leandro except: <br /> (a) Peace officers in the performance of their duties, <br /> (b) Persons using the San Leandro rifle range or an indoor safety range, <br /> (c) Persons in defense of life or property, and <br /> (d) Persons otherwise permitted to do so by law, provided however, possession of a <br /> hunting license issued by the State of California shall not be considered "permitted by law" <br /> within the meaning of this section." <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title <br /> thereof shall be published once prior to adoption. <br />
