, <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO FIRE PROTECTION AND <br /> EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT was originally made between the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> (hereafter "City ") and the ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT (hereafter "County" OR <br /> "ACFD ") on July 1, 1995. In consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the parties <br /> agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> Section 2. DEFINITIONS: <br /> Subsection (I), defining "City Management MOU," is hereby deleted. <br /> Subsection (h), defining "City MOU," is hereby deleted. <br /> Subsection (i), defining "City General Employees' MOU" is hereby deleted. O <br /> Section 3. SCOPE OF SERVICES: 0 <br /> Subsection (3) is hereby amended by the addition of the following paragraph: <br /> "Further, ACFD shall provide technical and training assistance and expertise to <br /> the City in the development and administration of the City's Emergency Preparedness Program, N <br /> including Community Emergency Preparedness orientation training. The Fire Chief shall submit <br /> to the City Manager a monthly report that identifies the types and dates of training, the name(s) <br /> of the group(s) trained, and the number of trainees." <br /> Section 5t DISPOSITION OF CITY EQUIPJ%IEN'T AND APPARATUS: <br /> The term Exhibit "B ", as used in subsections (c), (d), and (e), is hereby amended by the <br /> addition of the words "as amended" directly after each use of the term. An amended copy of <br /> Bo/Whit "B" is attached to this Amended Agreement. <br /> Section 8. FIRE BUDGET: <br /> The following sentence is hereby inserted after the first sentence of section 8: <br /> "The fire budget shall be based on the percentage of ACFD's total resources allocated to <br /> provide services to the City pursuant to this Agreement." <br /> The following sentence is hereby inserted after the first sentence of subsection (a): <br /> "In preparing the fire budget, the Fire Chief shall advise the City of ACFD's total budget <br /> and the percentage of resources allocated therein to provide services to the City pursuant to this <br /> Agreement." <br /> First Amended Fire Protection & <br /> Emergency Medical Services Agreement <br />
