0 <br /> IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 2 (2323) <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> APPROVING A CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF <br /> MICHAEL MANWARING FOR MARINA BOULEVARD AUTO MALL SIGNAGE DESIGN <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency ") has approved numerous Owner <br /> Participation and Disposition and Development Agreements for auto dealerships on the Marina <br /> Boulevard Auto Mall; and <br /> WHEREAS, the most recent Agency action will create two new auto dealerships 3/4 mile <br /> from Interstate 880; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Auto Mall does not currently feature a cohesive sign program directing <br /> shoppers to all the dealerships; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City advertised from January 16-February 13, 2002, a Request for <br /> Qualifications (RFQ) for signage design firms in accordance with City Purchasing Division <br /> guidelines; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Michael Manwaring's response to the RFQ was considered the <br /> most thorough and relevant of the three responses received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro hereby <br /> approves the attached Contractual Services Agreement and directs the Executive Director to <br /> execute the Agreement and any amendments necessary to implement the scope of work, terms, <br /> and conditions thereof. <br /> 1 <br />
