GROUND LEASE <br /> AUTOMALL READER BOARD SIGN <br /> This Ground Lease is made on May , 1997 between the <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a public agency <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Landlord "), and the BATARSE FAMILY TRUST, U.T.A. <br /> DATED MAY 7, 1987, ANTHONY A. BATARSE, JR., TRUSTEE, (hereinafter <br /> referred to as "Tenant "). <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, Landlord is the owner of that certain unimproved real land, <br /> located in the City of San Leandro, and more particularly described in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto (the "Premises "); and <br /> WHEREAS, Tenant desires to lease the Premises for the purpose of <br /> constructing and operating a reader board sign to advertise Tenant's adjacent <br /> automobile dealerships; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into this ground lease (hereinafter <br /> referred to as the "Lease ") upon the terns and conditions set forth below. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises, covenants and • <br /> agreements of both parties as set forth below, the parties agree as follows: <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> 1.
