CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> 1.A. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Business Development Analyst Jeff Kay led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> 1.B. ROLL CALL <br /> Present 7- Cassidy, Cutter, Dlugosh, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza <br /> 1.C. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Cassidy announced that the City Council is conducting performance reviews <br /> of the City Manager and City Attorney. This evening, the Council met in closed <br /> session and conducted the mid-year performance review of the City Manager. <br /> To assist in the performance review process for the City Attorney, the Council has <br /> directed the City Manager to retain an outside consultant to conduct a review and <br /> analysis of City Attorney services and operations, at a cost of$8,500. This review <br /> will be conducted by the Municipal Resource Group, LLC, a consulting firm that <br /> specializes in municipal finance and management services. It is anticipated that <br /> MRG will complete the review and issue a public report in November. <br /> Business Development Analyst Jeff Kay announced the City has been awarded a <br /> $2.1 million grant from the United States Economic Development Administration <br /> (EDA)for the expansion of San Leandro's fiber optic network, known as Lit San <br /> Leandro. The grant will facilitate the construction of 7.5 miles of new conduit, <br /> bringing the Lit San Leandro network to a total of over 18 miles. <br /> 2.
