CALL TO ORDER
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
3. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa;
Mayor Karp
ABSENT: None
•
4. PRESENTATIONS
None
5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person.
A. John Sullivan, said he would like to speak regarding Items E through G
under New Business when those matters were announced.
B. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said he wished to address the City
Council on half a dozen items. He said, for the record, he was opposed
to the three-minute time limit for speakers because this was not enough
time to cover all of his items. He said there is no way the average
person can participate in City government. He said one of the items
listed was combining the Corporation Yard lots owned by the City and
the Redevelopment Agency. He said he does not have any information
about this or know what is going on. He said he has very little
information on the Parking Authority, the Redevelopment Agency, and the
Industrial Development Authority, but they are in debt to the City for
S3 million. He spoke regarding the hazardous material Resolutions and
asked if the City was going to get into hazardous protection and if
they were going to go into business with the County and the State who
would pick up the tab when problems arose. He said he wanted this in
the record to show why he cannot participate.
