MINUTES <br /> SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> JUNE 21, 1993 <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro met in Regular Session in the City <br /> Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date at 8:00 p.m. , Mayor Faria <br /> presiding. <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> None <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. <br /> Teri House-Hedani , said she was very thankful for the funds the City had <br /> provided for the SAVE program. She said the money will be used to fund the <br /> Wings Transitional Housing Program. She said SAVE is grateful for the <br /> support that has been shown by the Council . <br /> Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said the audience used to be able to <br /> remove Consent Calendar items from the Agenda for discussion. He said it <br /> appears the audience is ng longer able to remove Consent Calendar items but <br /> must, instead, make their comments under Public Comments. Mayor Faria said <br /> this was correct. <br /> Mr. Filipovich questioned an item on the June 7 Minutes, page 3, which said <br /> the City Attorney would provide a report. Mr. Filipovich asked if the <br /> report was ready. Steve Meyers, City Attorney, said it was not. He was <br /> waiting for the State to complete its budget. Council Member Perry said <br /> she believed the question related to Susan Riskind-Poulsen's question about <br /> Contra Costa County's Measure A and the County's decision not to give <br /> property taxes to the State. Mr. Filipovich asked how he would find out <br /> when the City Attorney responds to this matter. Mr. Meyers said the <br /> response to the matter would be delivered to the City Council when it was <br /> prepared. <br />
