MINUTES <br /> JOINT SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL/ <br /> SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/ <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING <br /> JUNE 28, 1993 <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro and the Redevelopment Agency of the <br /> City of San Leandro met in Special Session on the above date at 7:00 p.m. , Mayor <br /> Faria presiding. Members of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors also <br /> attended portions of the meeting, as indicated herein. <br /> 1 . CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. The public is invited <br /> to make comments related to Agenda items or other items of public interest <br /> at this time. Comments regarding Public Hearing items will be heard during <br /> the Public Hearing portion of the Agenda. <br /> A. Joe Collier, 792 Floresta Boulevard, said he was at the meeting to make <br /> a personal request on behalf of the people that live on Floresta. He <br /> requested that the Police Department take action to slow traffic down. <br /> He said cars are skidding 15 to 30 feet at Monterey. <br /> B. Rick Richards commended the Library staff for their new cafe. He said <br /> Dave Bohne and his staff should be commended. <br /> 5. SWEARING IN OF COUNCIL MEMBER - CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT I <br /> The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Paul Nahm. Mr. Nahm then <br /> took his seat as Council Member, District 1 . <br /> Council Member Nahm expressed his gratitude to all the individuals who <br /> expressed interest. He said it is representative of the interest and <br /> talent that exists in the community. He said he was flattered by comments <br /> that were made on his behalf. He said he must now live up to those <br /> comments. <br />
