MINUTES <br /> SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> APRIL 18, 1994 <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro met in Regular Session in the City <br /> Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date at 8:00 p.m. , Mayor Faria <br /> presiding. <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria <br /> • <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. <br /> A. Milan Dobro, Representing the Golden State Mobilehome Owners <br /> Association, stated the primary purpose of the "Mobilehome Fairness and <br /> Rental Assistance" initiative is to take away the power of the City <br /> Council . He recommended the City Council approve the Resolution <br /> opposing the initiative. <br /> B. James Driver, 16273 Galloway Court, San Lorenzo, recommended the City <br /> create a citizens' advisory committee to deal with the redevelopment <br /> issues in the City. He stated that a citizens advisory committee could <br /> provide balance in dealing with issues associated with Bay Fair Mall <br /> and small businesses. <br /> Council Member Kerr requested that staff follow up on the validity of <br /> having such a committee. <br /> C. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, stated he believes the mobilehome <br /> resolution could be easily misunderstood, and he wants to make sure the <br /> City is not perceived by others as being anti -initiative. <br />
