MINUTES <br /> SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> JUNE 20, 1994 <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro met in Regular Session in the City <br /> Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date at 8:00 p.m. , Mayor Corbett <br /> presiding. <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Presentation of Commendation to Janet Mohr for Her Many Years of <br /> Dedicated Service to the San Leandro Cherry Festival . <br /> The City Clerk read the Commendation. Mayor Corbett thanked Mrs. Mohr <br /> for the hundreds and hundreds of hours she has given on behalf of San <br /> Leandro and thanked her for all she has done. <br /> Mrs . Mohr said she has enjoyed her years of service in the community. <br /> She said she has been planning her retirement for the last four years <br /> and is looking forward to it. She wished the City a lot of luck and <br /> said she hopes the volunteers who come after her will continue to <br /> contribute to the City and that the City will support the business <br /> community. <br /> Council Member Kerr said he served with Mrs. Mohr on the Cherry <br /> Festival Board and she was an excellent chair who kept the meetings <br /> going. He said the Cherry Festival has grown and improved each year <br /> under her direction and thanked her for all of her years of service. <br /> Council Member Myers congratulated Mrs. Mohr and wished her a good <br /> future. <br /> Council Member Perry wished Mrs. Mohr the best. She said she has known <br /> her in many capacities. She noted that she was the first woman chair <br /> of the Chamber of Commerce and wished her the best in Arizona. <br /> Council Member Loeffler said the Community Education Foundation is due <br /> in great part to the efforts of Mrs. Mohr and thanked her for her <br /> legacy to the community. <br />
