• • San Leandro, California, March 5, 1990 The City Council of the City of San Leandro met in regular session in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall on the above date at 8:00 p.m. The meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance to the flag of our country, Mayor Karp presiding. PRESENT: Council Members Faria, Jardin, Santos; Mayor Karp EXCUSED: Council Members Glaze, Perry and Suchman MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of March 5, 1990 were approved as amended. PRESENTATIONS: a. Presentation of Proclamation to Nathan Acuna, Association of Retarded Citizens - Alameda County, proclaiming March 1990 as "ARC Mental Retardation Month. " Mr. Acuna introduced Mr. Medeiros of the Board of Directors and commended him for his volunteer work. Mayor Karp proclaimed March 1990 as "ARC Mental Retardation Month" and commended the Association of Retarded Citizens for their work. CORRESPONDENCE: a. Letter from Allen F. Strutz, Treasurer, Veterans Affairs Commission, Alameda County Veterans' Day Committee, requesting City donation of $300 for the Alameda County Veterans' Day Observance, being held in Fremont, November 11 , 1990. The letter was referred to the budget process. RESOLUTIONS: Resolution Approving Contractor Services Agreement with The Warner Group of Woodland Hills, CA, for Telecommunication Services. Dick Randall , City Manager, requested that this matter be rescheduled for a Work Session discussion on March 19, 1990. The City Council requested that the report include information from Katherine Schuler. RESOLUTION NO. 90-30 (2645) RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR TONY LEMA GOLF COURSE CART PATHS, PHASE III PROJECT NO. 89-8664 Introduced by Council Member Jardin who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Santos and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Faria, Jardin, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 4 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Members Glaze, Perry and Suchman ( 0 )
