IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> fr <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 1 (2853) <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO STOMPER COMPANY, INC., <br /> FOR SAN LEANDRO COMMUNITY LIBRARY CENTER SEISMIC RETROFIT, <br /> RENOVATION AND EXPANSION, PACKAGE NO. 1 —ARCHITECTURAL DEMOLITION, <br /> PROJECT NO. 98-215-28-115-1 <br /> PROJECT NO. <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on December 29, 1998,publicly open, examine and declare <br /> all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 98-157 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on December 7, 1998, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> therefor, to wit: Stomper Company, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Galva n and passed and adopted this 4th day <br /> of January, 1999, by the following called vote: <br />
