IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99- 7 (2846) <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE DOWNTOWN <br /> PLAZA I &II,BLOCKS "I","M", &"0"IRRIGATION <br /> PROJECT NO. 96-210-38-152 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on September 1, 1998, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed <br /> proposals or bids for the work described in Resolution No. 98-77 of the Council of said City adopted on August <br /> 3, 1998, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars <br /> relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director for comparison and <br /> recommendation. <br /> The Engineering and Transportation Director has recommended that the proposals for said work be <br /> rejected. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects said proposals or bids for doing said work. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this 19th day of <br /> January, 1999,by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council <br /> AYES: Council Members Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, Nardine; <br /> Mayor Young ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Gal van ( 1 ) <br /> a <br /> ATTEST: t &ir, J <br /> Gayle Pete sen, City Clerk <br />
