IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2016-013 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN $81,000 SURRENDERED AND ABANDONED VESSEL <br /> EXCHANGE (SAVE) GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, <br /> DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS FOR ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED <br /> AND SURRENDERED WATERCRAFT AT THE SAN LEANDRO MARINA AND THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of which is <br /> attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> An appropriation by City Council for$81,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br /> established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br /> That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 1st day of February, <br /> 2016,by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> Le <br /> ATTEST: . <br /> Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
