City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 18, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-356 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number:8.H <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Jeff Kay <br />Acting Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable <br />TITLE:Resolution Removing Kyle Borton as District 3 Member to the Recreation and <br />Parks Commission <br />WHEREAS, Kyle Borton was appointed as the District 3 Member to the Recreation and <br />Parks Commission on February 26, 2015 by Resolution No. 2015-020, with a term expiring on <br />December 31, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, San Leandro Municipal Code section 1-3-105 provides that the City <br />Council has the authority to remove a Board member or Commissioner without cause, notice, <br />or hearing. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Kyle Borton is hereby removed from the Recreation and Parks Commission, <br />effective immediately; and <br />That this Council thanks Mr. Borton for his service on the Recreation and Parks <br />Commission, and extends its gratitude for his civic contributions. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/13/2016 <br />151
