<br />MINUTES Page 9 <br />City of San Leandro City Council, San Leandro Redevelopment Agency and San Leandro Economic Development <br />Agency Joint Meeting-February 7, 2005 <br /> <br />questions of the person dropping off the child. Chief McCammon indicated that <br />Alameda County Social Services Agency will be conducting a public outreach <br />campaign for all participating jurisdictions, and he stated that he will mention Kaiser's <br />approach to them. He stated that Alameda County's procedures are based on the State <br />law and the process developed by the State Social Services Agency. <br /> <br />M/S/C Nardine and Glaze. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />Public Comments on Item 10.C.: <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting on <br />the manner in which the closed session items were listed on the agenda. <br /> <br />End of Public Comments <br /> <br />City Attorney Jayne Williams stated that there were no reportable actions taken in <br />closed session, and the items listed on the closed session agenda were pending litigation <br />items listed pursuant to the provisions ofthe Brown Act. <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, of which she is <br />a commissioner representing the cities in Alameda County. She stated that resolutions <br />are being proposed in many cities to take positions on the Bay Bridge retrofit project. <br />She reported that she will be taking a presentation and resolution to the Alameda <br />County Mayors Conference for the cities to consider taking a collective position. Based <br />on Council discussion, Mayor Young will provide copies of any materials handed out at <br />the Mayors Conference to the Council for information. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. City and San Leandro Unified School District Liaison Committee Meeting of <br />January 12, 2005. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />2. Human Relations Committee Meeting of January 20, 2005. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule review of drafted Sister City guidelines at a future City Council <br />meeting. <br />
