1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag Teresa Glaze led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. B. Roll Call PRESENT: Members Badger, Glaze, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Stephens ABSENT: Mayor Young In the absence of Mayor Young, the meeting was conducted by Vice Mayor Badger. 2. PRESENT ATIONSIRECOGNITIONS A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month for the Month of March 2005, Patricia Greig, Administrative Assistant II, Community Development Department. Patricia Greig was present to receive her award. 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. A. Matter of FY 2005-2009 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (RUD) Five Year Consolidated Plan and FY 2005-2006 Annual Action Plan. [The Draft FY 2005-09 Five Year Housing and Community Development Strategic Plan (Consolidated Plan) identifies the housing and community development needs in San Leandro, outlines the strategies for meeting those needs and determines proposed outcomes. The 2005-06 Annual Action Plan (Consolidated Action Plan) represents the first year of the Five Year Plan and implements the strategies from the Five Year Plan through the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (RUD), as well as other housing sources such as housing set aside funds from the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency and funds from the San Leandro Housing Finance Corporation. ]
