Resolution Commending Angelo Ruiz for His Years of Service on the Human Services <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Angelo Ruiz was unable to attend tonight's meeting, and his resolution will be mailed <br />to him. <br /> <br />D. Resolution Commending Ernest S. Low for His Years of Service on the Library- <br />Historical Commission. <br /> <br />Ernie Low was presented with the resolution commending his service on the Library- <br />Historical Commission by Vice Mayor Badger and Councilmember Santos. <br /> <br />E. Resolution Commending David Ennis for His Years of Service on the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />David Ennis was presented with the resolution commending his service on the <br />Planning Commission by Vice Mayor Badger and Councilmember Stephens. <br /> <br />F. Presentation by Councilmember Grant on the Alameda County Housing Authority. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant narrated a short PowerPoint presentation which provided <br />background on the Alameda County Housing Authority and provided information on <br />the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and the current funding challenges <br />faced by the program. <br /> <br />Alameda County Housing Authority Deputy Director Kurt Wiest was in attendance <br />and responded to questions on the Housing Choice Voucher Program by the Council. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor.
