<br />MINUTES <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-June 6, 2005 <br /> <br />Page 17 <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant asked for clarification on Item 8.E. regarding the effective date of the <br />Letter of Agreement with Mercy Housing California, noting that the date of the letter and the <br />date it was signed are different. Mr. Jermanis clarified that the date of the agreement should <br />be June 6, 2005. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant commented on Item 8.K., stating that she would have liked to see <br />some iteration of the guidelines for assessing future commercial and industrial condominium <br />converSIOns. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak requested that Item 8.K. be removed from the Consent Calendar <br />for separate consideration. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />Bo Johansen, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, requesting to have Item <br />8.G. removed and revised. He commented regarding the cost of the project and the speed <br />humps which have been included without discussion with the residents. Mr. Johansen <br />commented that the residents of Walnut Drive were not notified about the work to be <br />performed by PG&E tomorrow, and they should have been notified by the City. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Badger asked for confirmation that the speed humps for this project will be <br />funded from another source and not by the residents. Mr. Jermanis confirmed that this is <br />correct. He indicated that the residents' portion of the cost of the project is capped, and any <br />difference above the cap will be paid by the City. <br /> <br />End of Public Comments on Consent Calendar <br /> <br />Consent Calendar was amended to remove Item 8.K Item will be considered under <br />Item 9. Items Removed from Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single <br />action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes per item with a maximum of 5 <br />minutes for all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by <br />title. <br /> <br />Item 8.K was removed from the Consent Calendar to Item 9. Items Removed from <br />Consent Calendar. The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved by <br />the following vote: <br />M/S/C Santos and Stephens. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />
