<br />MINUTES Page 2 <br />City of San Leandro City Conncil and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-September 6, 2005 <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that the following presentations were made this past summer: <br /> <br />. Contributions were made from the Mayor's Community Fund to the following <br />organizations: <br />Building Futures with Women and Children. <br />Niemi Family Fund. <br />Project Literacy for the annual Trivia Bee. <br />San Leandro High School Pirate Wrestling Club. <br />San Leandro Police Explorer Program. <br />Senior Services Foundation. <br />San Leandro Swim Team. <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring September 17-23, 2005 as "United States <br />Constitution Week" in the City of San Leandro in recognition of the 21Sth Anniversary <br />of the signing ofthe United States Constitution. <br />. A Commendation was presented to Kraft Foods on its 55th Anniversary. <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to Engineer Luster Knight of the Alameda <br />County Fire Department for his 14 years of volunteer service to the Davis Street Family <br />Resource Center. <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to Mika Hiramatsu, M.D., for her years of <br />dedicated service to the RotaCare Free Acute Medical Clinic. <br />. A Commendation was presented to the San Leandro Rotary Club on the 10th Anniversary <br />of the RotaCare Free Acute Medical Clinic and the opening of the Dr. Jack Goodrich Free <br />Dental Clinic. <br />. A Commendation was presented to the RotaCare Free Acute Medical Clinic on its lOth <br />Anniversary. <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring San Leandro as "Home of the Rainbow Trout." <br />. A Proclamation was issued declaring June 29, 2005 as "San Leandro Breakfast Club Day" <br />in honor ofthe Club's 50th Anniversary. <br />. A Commendation was presented to the California Association of Sanitation Agencies <br />(CASA) on its 50th Anniversary. <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to Santos-Robinson Mortuary on its 75th <br />Anniversary. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br />A. Matter of PLN2005-00065; Planned Development, Zoning Map Amendment, and <br />Vesting Tentative Map; to rezone the properties at 635 and 641 MacArthur <br />Boulevard from CC-Commercial Community District to CC(PD) Commercial <br />Community, Planned Development Overlay District; to create nine lots and an eight- <br />unit, three-story residential for-sale row-home development at the comer of MacArthur <br /> <br />
