<br />MINUTES Page 13 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-November 7, 2005 <br /> <br />There was consensus of the Council to refer the matter of amendments to Municipal Code <br />sections 6-1-430 and 6-1-820 to the City Council Rules and Communications Committee. <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos requested that tonight's meeting be adjourned in memory of Robert <br />Winkler. <br /> <br />Mayor Young commented that she will forward to the Council a flyer regarding a fundraiser <br />at Jefferson School which San Leandro Police Officer Tai Nguyen is volunteering his own <br />time to help sponsor. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that City flags were flown at half staff in honor of civil rights <br />activist Rosa Parks, and the Children's Memorial Flag was flown in honor of San Leandro <br />High School student Nayanci Gonzalez. Mayor Young announced that tonight's meeting <br />would be adjourned in their memory as well as in the memory of Robert Winkler, an attorney <br />who was very active in the community during the 1970s; Tony Atkinson's mother; Bonnie <br />Dettmer, Executive Director of the Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce; sports announcer <br />Bill King; and Lottie Williams, mother-in-law of City Attorney Jayne Williams. <br /> <br />13.
