<br />Requests for equity adjustments from Water Pollution Plant will be placed on hold until <br />Division is reorganized between July and October of 2006 pursuant to following: The City <br />agrees to conduct and complete an organizational study of the Water Pollution Control <br />Plant no later than October, 2006. Any proposed changes resulting from the study, falling <br />within the scope of representation, will be subject to the meet and confer process. Union <br />proposed equity adjustments deferred due to the pendency of the study may, subject to <br />negotiations, be made effective retroactive to January 2006. In addition, at <br />least one Facility Maintenance Worker II position will be upgraded to the Electrician I <br />class. A final determination on the types of positions will be determined once the new <br />Managers have been hired. <br /> <br />The above-listed salary adjustments are being made with the understanding that once a <br />vacancy occurs in the Street Supervisor classification, the duties ofthe vacant position will <br />be reassigned to the remaining Street Supervisor and the Traffic Supervisor without <br />additional compensation. <br /> <br />Classification specifications have been amended to reflect revised duties or responsibilities <br />of identified classifications. <br /> <br />Section 7. Annual Vacation Leave <br /> <br />7.1 The purpose of annual vacation leave is to enable each eligible employee to return to work <br />physically and mentally refreshed.
