Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Nardine reported the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District is <br />preparing for its 75th Anniversary celebration in March. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. Business Development Committee Meeting of December 15,2005. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Badger thanked his Council colleagues and City staff for all their good work in <br />2005. He gave special thanks to the Police Department for a job well done in 2005 despite <br />staff reductions and other trying events. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak expressed appreciation for the process used in selecting the <br />members for the Downtown San Leandro Transit-Oriented Development Strategy Citizen <br />Advisory Committee. She noted the number of applications received from interested <br />individuals, commenting that it speaks well for the community. She expressed hope that all <br />applicants would receive a letter thanking them for their interest in serving on the committee. <br />
