<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-118 <br /> <br />(3102) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO THE MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERST ANDING FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA INTERIM <br />CENTER- TO-CENTER PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is part of the East Bay Smart Corridors program <br /> <br />that enables the exchange of real-time traffic data and video images between its participants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the East Bay Smart Corridors program provides limited ability for real-time <br /> <br />exchange with other Smart Corridors, Caltrans, and other Bay Area entities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Interim Center-to-Center Program is to implement and operate an <br /> <br />Interim Center-to-Center System that will enable the exchange of real-time traffic data and video <br /> <br />between the Bay Area's Smart Corridors and the Regional Transportation Management Center, <br /> <br />where Caltrans, the California Highway Patrol and Travlnfo@ staff are co-located, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San <br /> <br />Leandro does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No.1 to the <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding for the San Francisco Bay Area Interim Center-to-Center <br /> <br />Program, including Attachment 1, Policy for the Exchange of Real-Time Traffic Data and Real- <br /> <br />Time Video. <br /> <br />That said Amendment No.1 to the Memorandum of Understanding, is hereby approved <br /> <br />and execution thereof is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Badger and passed and adopted this 6th day of November <br /> <br />2006, by the following called vote: <br />
