<br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br /> <br />TITLE 26 <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />Chapter I <br /> <br />Bylaws <br /> <br />ARTICLE I-THE AGENCY <br /> <br />~26.1.IOO: NAME OF AGENCY. The name of the Agency shall be the "Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of San Leandro," and shall hereinafter be referred to as the Agencv. <br /> <br />~26.1.I05: SEAL OF AGENCY. The seal of the Agency shall be in the form of a circle and <br />shall bear the name of the Agency and the year of its organization. <br /> <br />~26.1.110: OFFICE OF AGENCY. The office of the Agency shall be at the City Hall, 835 <br />East 14th Street, in the City of San Leandro, California. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2-0FFICERS <br /> <br />~26.1.200: OFFICERS. The officers shall be selected in accordance with law for their <br />respective offices. The officers of the Agency shall be the Mayor who shall be known as the <br />Chail1Ha:H, the Vice Mayor who shall be known as the Vice Chail1Ha:H and the City Manager who <br />shall be known as the Executive Director. <br /> <br />~26.1.205: CHAIRMAN. Except as otherwise authorized by resolution of the Agency, the <br />Chail1Ha:H shall sign all contracts, deeds, and other instruments made by the Agency. At each <br />meeting the Chail1Ha:H shall submit recommendations and information as he may considered <br />proper concerning the business, affairs, and policies of the Agency, and perform such other <br />duties as may devolve 1:lpon him by the nature of ~his office. <br /> <br />~26.1.210: VICE CHAIRMAN. The Vice Chail1Ha:H shall perform the duties of the <br />Chail1Ha:H in the absence of incapacity of the Chail1Ha:H; and in the case of the resignation or <br />death of the Chail1Ha:H, the Vice Chail1Ha:H shall perform such duties as are imposed on the <br />Chail1Ha:H until such time as a new Chail1Ha:H shall be selected. <br /> <br />~26.1.~211: SECRETARY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The Executive Director or <br />his designated representativo designee shall have general supervision over the administration of <br />the Agency's business and affairs and shall perform the duties cl:lstomarily performed by the <br />secretary of a corporation. <br /> <br />The Executive Director or his designated representati','e shalllceep the records of the Agency, <br />shall act as Secretary of the meetings of the .^...gency and record all ','otes, and shalllceep a record <br />of the prooeedings of the ,^~gency in a journal of proceedings to be kept for sl:leh purpose, and <br />shall perform all duties incident to this office. <br /> <br />Department Responsible for Revision: Redevelopment Agency <br />2006 <br /> <br />Chapter 26.1 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />91 <br />
