As the general <br />population ages, the number of seniors in this plan's target <br />populations will increase as well, making this a quickly growing <br />segment of the population. <br /> <br />r--.--~----._---__.____.__.~._~._ <br />I <br />Strategy S-4-F: I For veterans, ensure that they are receiving benefits for which they are <br />I eligible and that appropriate support and services, including <br />I employment programs, are available. <br /> <br />Strategy S~4-G: ; For families, increase the availability of related support services for <br />all family members, and seek opportunities to link services with <br />affordable housing for families. Services should include culturally <br />appropriate affordable childcare, youth after-school recreation <br />programs, family and mental health counseling, domestic violence <br />support, health education, and parenting services, as well as access to <br />GED and continuing education programs for parents. <br /> <br />
