Dispatch Service <br /> <br />Fire dispatch services will be provided to the City through the Alameda <br />County Regional Emergency Communication Center located at the Lawrence <br />Livermore National Laboratory. <br /> <br />c. Community Education <br /> <br />1. Fire Prevention and Safety Proqrams <br /> <br />ACFD will coordinate the planning and development ottire prevention <br />and safety education training programs for schools, businesses, community <br />associations, childcare providers and other members of the community. <br />Programs to be provided by ACFD shall be as mutually agreed to by the Fire <br />Chief and the City Manager. Current examples of education programs are <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Burn Prevention Fire Safety in the Workplace <br />Smoke Detectors Extinguisher Use <br />Stop, Drop & Roll Exit Drills in the Home <br />Partners in Fire Safety Juvenile Firesetters <br />Emergency Preparedness Fire in Health Care Facilities <br />Safely Surrendered Baby Program <br /> <br />2. CPR Traininq <br /> <br />ACFD shall provide CPR training to members of the San Leandro <br />Community at no charge to the participant. This training shall be provided <br />within the boundaries of the City. <br /> <br />3. Neiqhborhood Emerqency Team Proqram <br /> <br />ACFD shall offer Neighborhood Emergency Team Program training to <br />members of the San Leandro community. This training shall be coordinated <br />with the City's current disaster preparedness programs. <br /> <br />4. Bicycle Licensinq <br /> <br />ACFD will provide bicycle licensing on Saturdays and Sundays to San <br />Leandro residents from Fire Station No.9, 10,11,12 and 13 (450 Estudillo <br />Avenue, 2194 Williams St., 14903 Catalina, 1065 143rd Ave and 637 Fargo <br />Avenue). <br /> <br />Agreement Regarding Fire and Emergency <br />Response Services - San Leandro/Alameda County <br /> <br />Page 8 of 24 <br />
