Ms. Jue commented on the poor lighting conditions
in the Broadmoor corridor due to the distance between the light standards, noting that several
auto break-ins have occurred in the area. She also commented on the need for a curb cut at
the corner of Warwick and Broadmoor. Ms. Jue stated that she has mentioned these issues to
Councilmember Stephens on several occasions, but the problems have not been resolved.

6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS

Mr. Jermanis commented that Councilmembers advise the City Manager of issues and
concerns in their respective districts, and Councilmember Stephens previously reported the
Broadmoor area lighting problem. Mr. Jermanis indicated that the City's needs must be
prioritized based on the available funding. He provided the example of the limited federal
funding available for curb cuts compared to the number of requests received. Mr. Jennanis
pointed out that while Councilmembers work diligently to represent their districts, some of
their requests have to wait to be addressed. He noted that the Police Department is aware of
the auto break-ins, and staff will again look into the issue of the lighting conditions in the
Broadmoor corridor.
