ADDENDUM TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE JOINT USE OF WASHINGTON MANOR SCHOOL GYMNASIUM This ADDENDUM dated June 13, 2006 to Supplemental Agreement dated May 2, 2006 made and entered into by and between City of San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School District. This ADDENDUM is made in order to meet the requirements of the California Department of General Services, Office of Public School Construction relative to Ed. Code Section 17077.42(b). Student Safety The safety and security of School District students and staff are of utmost importance. Therefore, use of the joint use facility during school hours will be limited to use by students, teachers and other school staff. All joint use facility use by non-District users (both for the City of San Leandro and Community events) will be governed by the School District's Board policies and administrative regulations regarding facilities use, including any recommendations as set forth in the School District's Environmental Impact Report and agreed to by the District. These School District policies require that all visitors shall register immediately at the administrator's office upon entering the school site when school is in session. When school is in session, a staff member of the School District shall accompany all visitors during the' time while they are on the school site. District Contribution District shall contribute all funds necessary to complete the school gymnasium project beyond those funds (25% of eligible project costs, per Education Code Section 17077.42) contributed by City and those funds contributed by the State of California School Facility Program Joint-Use Program.
