<br />ADDENDUM TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />AND SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE JOINT USE OF <br />WASHINGTON MANOR SCHOOL GYMNASIUM <br /> <br />This ADDENDUM dated June 13, 2006 to Supplemental Agreement dated May 2, 2006 <br />made and entered into by and between City of San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified <br />School District. This ADDENDUM is made in order to meet the requirements of the <br />California Department of General Services, Office of Public School Construction relative to <br />Ed. Code Section 17077.42(b). <br /> <br />Student Safety <br />The safety and security of School District students and staff are of utmost importance. <br />Therefore, use of the joint use facility during school hours will be limited to use by <br />students, teachers and other school staff. All joint use facility use by non-District users <br />(both for the City of San Leandro and Community events) will be governed by the School <br />District's Board policies and administrative regulations regarding facilities use, including <br />any recommendations as set forth in the School District's Environmental Impact Report <br />and agreed to by the District. These School District policies require that all visitors shall <br />register immediately at the administrator's office upon entering the school site when school <br />is in session. When school is in session, a staff member of the School District shall <br />accompany all visitors during the' time while they are on the school site. <br /> <br />District Contribution <br />District shall contribute all funds necessary to complete the school gymnasium project <br />beyond those funds (25% of eligible project costs, per Education Code Section 17077.42) <br />contributed by City and those funds contributed by the State of California School Facility <br />Program Joint-Use Program. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, the Parties hereto have executed this ADDENDUM on the 20th day of <br />June, 2006. <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />By: ~ ~ rz,1'Z- <br />. <br />John Jermanis <br />City Manager <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br /> <br />FlED SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />Arnie berg <br />Superintendent <br />
