<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-077 <br /> <br />(2368/3086) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF CHEMICALS TO TREAT THE <br />SHORELINE !NY ASIVE SP ARTINA WITHOUT COMPETITIVE BIDDING BY MEANS OF <br />PIGGYBACKING ON EAST SAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT'S APPROVED SOLE- <br />SOURCE PURCHASE <br /> <br />A Cooperative Purchasing Arrangement between the City of San Leandro and East Bay <br />Regional Park District to procure chemicals to treat the shoreline invasive species by piggybacking <br />on East Bay Regional Park District's competitive bid in accordance with Resolution 2006-6-144, a <br />copy of which are attached, has been presented to this Council. <br /> <br />The Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />The City Manager has recommended approval of said arrangement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said arrangement is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 10th day of July, 2006 by <br />the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members ofthe Council: <br /> <br />ABSENT: Mayor Young <br /> <br />(6) <br />(0) <br />(1) <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
