(1102/2318) <br /> <br />City Manager Jermanis commented that this matter was discussed with the City Council <br />Finance Committee. lie noted that as a practical matter, the City Attomey works in <br />consultation with the City Manager and City staff to settle liability claims. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak offered a friendly amendment to the wording of Section 2 of <br />the resolution to read, "The City Attorney, in consultation with the City Manager, is <br />hereby authorized 10 cOlnpromise and settle as the best interests of the City of San <br />Leandro may dictate, any and all claims up to a maximum 01'$50,000." <br /> <br />- Adopted as Amended <br /> <br />M/S/C Starosciak and Stephens.
