<br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br /> <br />TITLE 26 <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />Chapter 1 <br /> <br />Bylaws <br /> <br />ARTICLE I-THE AGENCY <br /> <br />&26.1.100: NAME OF AGENCY. The name of the Agency shall be the "Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of San Leandro," and shall hereinafter be referred to as the Agency. <br /> <br />&26.1.105: SEAL OF AGENCY. The seal of the Agency shall be in the form of a circle and <br />shall bear the name of the Agency and the year of its organization. <br /> <br />&26.1.110: OFFICE OF AGENCY. The office of the Agency shall be at the City Hall, 835 <br />East 14th Street, in the City of San Leandro, California. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2-0FFICERS <br /> <br />&26.1.200: OFFICERS. The officers shall be selected in accordance with law for their <br />respective offices. The officers of the Agency shall be the Mayor who shall be known as the <br />Chair, the Vice Mayor who shall be known as the Vice Chair and the City Manager who shall be <br />known as the Executive Director. <br /> <br />&26.1.205: CHAIR. Except as otherwise authorized by resolution of the Agency, the Chair <br />shall sign all contracts, deeds, and other instruments made by the Agency. At each meeting the <br />Chair shall submit recommendations and information considered proper concerning the business, <br />affairs, and policies of the Agency, and perform such other duties as may devolve by the nature <br />of this office. <br /> <br />&26.1.210: VICE CHAIR. The Vice Chair shall perform the duties of the Chair in the <br />absence or incapacity of the Chair; and in the case of the resignation or death of the Chair, the <br />Vice Chair shall perform such duties as are imposed on the Chair until such time as a new Chair <br />shall be selected. <br /> <br />&26.1.211: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The Executive Director or designee shall have <br />general supervision over the administration of the Agency's business and affairs. <br /> <br />&26.1.215: SECRETARY. The Secretary shall keep the records of the Agency, shall record <br />all votes, shall keep a record of the proceedings of the Agency in a journal of proceedings to be <br />kept for such purpose, shall attest to official acts, and shall perform all duties prescribed in the <br />Community Development Law and incident to this office. <br /> <br />Department Responsible for Revision: Redevelopment Agency <br />01/02/2007 <br /> <br />Chapter 26.1 <br />Page 1 <br />
