Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos reported that he is a member of the Alameda County <br />COInmission on Aging, and he attended a meeting earlier this month of the <br />Commission's Legislativc Advocacy Committee. He noted that budget cuthacks in <br />social services are quite signi II cant. Councilmember Santos has prepared a memo to the <br />City Council outlining these runding cuts and suggested the Council consider writing to <br />Governor Schwarzenegger regarding the situation. He passed on the memo and <br />attached information to the City Manager for distJibution 10 the Council. <br />
