Reports on lntergovemmental Agencies <br /> <br />COLlncilmember Nardine repOlied that the week of May 10, 2004 is West Nile Virus <br />Awareness Week in Califomia. The Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District <br />will be requesting a proc1mnation from the City. Mayor Young suggested that the <br />Distlict email a request to her, and she will prepare a proclamation. <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported that the funding outlook for transportation projects is bleak. She <br />anticipates being asked to testify before the U.S. House of Representatives in April on <br />behalf of the Congestion Management Agency or the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />8.
