Under the scenario <br />outlined in Attachment B, the City would choose to spend less than the maximum <br />amount and allocate the rest to the Senior Center Proj ect. <br /> <br />Mr. J erm ani s clarified that the goal was to maintain a consistent level of General Fund <br />support for Public Services while beginning to build up funding for the Senior Center <br />Project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant expressed concern about reducing the support for social services <br />and homeless services. She suggested that the City may be able to find funding partners <br />for the Senior Center who would not otherwise consider funding for homeless services. <br />Counciln1ember Grant asked if the Council would have the ability to redirect the funds <br />if the need arises. Mr. J ermanis confirmed that the Plan could be modified this evening <br />if the Council chooses or in the future if the need should arise. <br /> <br />.
