(2993) <br /> <br />The City Council made a motion to direct staff to: <br />1) Analyze the shuttle operations budget to identify reductions in <br />administrative costs, and <br />2) Look into soliciting business sponsorships and bus advertising as a way of <br />offsetting shuttle operating costs. <br /> <br />M/S/C Santos and Badger. Presentation of Proposed Fiscal Year 2004-05 Budget. <br /> <br />(1051 ) <br /> <br />Mayor Young recalled a longstanding Council rule of not considering new agenda <br />items after 10:00 p.m. She asked Councilmembers if they wished to receive the staff <br />presentation. Mr. J ermanis noted that alternatively, staff could give the budget <br />presentation on June 14. <br /> <br />Councilmember Glaze comn1ented that the presentation would be better received on <br />June 14 than tonight at this late hour. <br /> <br />Councilmelnber Grant commented that it would be helpful to have a short overview of <br />the budget and save questions until the June 14 work session. <br /> <br />Mayor Young polled the audience to see how many attended to hear the budget item. <br />Four audience men1bers raised their hands. Mayor Young announced that she had three <br />public comlnent cards for the item. The speakers withdrew their requests. <br /> <br />The Budget Presentation will be n1ade at the City Council Work Session on June 14, <br />2004. <br /> <br />D.
