PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced the following presentations made since the last regular City Council <br />Meeting: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A proclan1ation was presented declaring June 14, 2004 as "Flag Day" in San Leandro. <br />A conunendation was presented to Diane Cariss upon her retirement as Plincipal of <br />Washington Manor Middle School and for her 29 years of service as an educator. <br />A contribution was n1ade from the Mayor's Community Fund to Building Futures with <br />W on1en and Children for its alIDual fundraiser. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2004-091, Resolution Appointing Member to <br />COlll1nission-Sylvia J. Stadmire (District 2). <br /> <br />the Senior <br />(2143) <br /> <br />M/S/C Grant and Badger. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />New Senior Commissioner Sylvia Stadmire took the Oath of Office adnlinistered by <br />City Clerk Marian Handa. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 lninutes per person, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor.
