Mr. Jermanis indicated that at least <br />one developer has expressed concern that certain issues with the ordinance would keep <br />proj ects from being developed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant noted that due to the Business Development Committee meeting <br />schedule, the ordinance could not be brought back to the Council in two weeks. <br /> <br />Mayor Young asked if the ordinance could be adopted in its present form and amended later. <br />Ms. Williams noted that if the ordinance can be implemented as drafted, it could be adopted <br />now and amended later. Mr. J ermanis commented that Mayor Young's suggestion might <br />work well because it would allow the Business Development Committee to review issues, <br />hear the comments and determine whether to adopt or modify the ordinance. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to refer the Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance to the <br />Business Development Comlnittee. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced she would like to adjourn the meeting in memory of former <br />Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Frank King and volunteer and community activist <br />Hazel Butler. <br /> <br />13.
