The public is <br />invited to make comments on Conscnt Calendar itcms, or other items of public interest not <br />listed on the Agenda, at this time. <br /> <br />Michelle Berntson, 76 Dutton Avenue, addressed the City Council, expressing concel11 for <br />thc safety ofpedestrians and bicyclists traveling over the Davis Street overpass, as the lighting <br />is poor. Ms. Berntson thanked Councilmember Nardine for her assistance in having <br />additional benches and hooks installed at the Boys' Club swimming pool. <br /> <br />Mike Rawlis, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the Davis Street <br />overpass, noting there is no crosswalk or signage at the on-ramp to alert motorists to <br />pedestrian tratTlc. Mr. Rawlis spoke to the need for more frequent bus service, for motorists <br />to respect the tights of bicyclists and f'or bicycles to be able to higger the traffic lights at the <br />intersection behind the BART station. <br /> <br />Kathy Banks, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the need for <br />signage warning rnotorists of pedeshians crossing at the Davis Street overpass and the need <br />for a crosswalk or signal on the street behind the BART station near Alvarado Street. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 LaVerne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding his objection to <br />the procedures l'or public comments and requesting pages 1-3 and 33 of the verbatim <br />transcript, Part I, Item 3A of the Novernber 4, 2002 City Council Meeting be made part of <br />tonight's record. Mr. Filipovich expressed disappointment that he only received one response <br />to ten packets of documents he sent out. <br /> <br />Harold Perez, Davis West Neighborhood Group, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />need for a Community Meeting l'or the Davis West neighborhood and the needl'or Eden Road <br />
