Matter of proposed Neighborhood Clean Up program to address the City Council's <br />2002 Neighborhood Beautification Goal (proposes Neighborhood Clean Up Program; <br />staff seeks Council input on this item and/or authorization to move forward with the <br />proposed progran1). Resolution approving the renewal of an agreement between the City of San Leandro and <br />California Highway Adoption Company for weekly litter cleanup of Highway 880 <br />southbound between Davis Street and Marina Boulevard, including the interchanges <br />(provides weekly litter abatement on southbound Highway 880 between Davis Street and <br />Marina Boulevard including the on and off ramps. This service will be funded by a grant <br />from the California Department of Conservation [Bottle Bill]). Cost: $33,600. Funding: <br />California Department of Conservation. Matter of proposal to install traffic diversion measures consisting of curbed traffic islands <br />at four streets that intersect with Durant Avenue: Stratford, Breed, Beverly and Warwick <br />Avenues (restricts vehicles on Durant Avenue from turning left or right onto these four <br />streets, and would only allow vehicles on these streets to turn right onto Durant Avenue). <br />(Moved to Item 9, Items Removed from Consent Calendar.) <br /> <br />- Motion to direct the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Signature <br />Properties to install and deposit funds for the traffic diversion measures in accordance <br />with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Resolution No. 2003-045, resolution accepting the work for Washington Manor Middle <br />School Playfields, Project No. 01-122-38-224 (provides for acceptance of work from <br />Misan Construction, Inc., filing of Notice of Completion, and release of bonds ). Resolution No. 2003-046, resolution approving Contractual Services Agreement with <br />BKF Engineers relating to the Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street Project, <br />ACTIA Project No. 18, City Project No. 03-144-39-003 (provides for final design and <br />preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimate for subject project.)
