Report on Closed Session actions taken. <br /> <br />1. lnfonnation on Settlement of Hart v. City or San Leandro, Alameda County <br />Superior Court, Case No. 01-031016. <br /> <br />City Attomey Jayne WilJiarns reported on the successful settlement ofthe case of <br />Hart v. City oC San Leandro within the settlement authority authorized by the City <br />Council in closed session on April 21,2003. <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovemmental Agencies <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced a community outreach meeting on the LA YMA project will <br />be held on May 22 at the San Lorenzo Village offices. In the coming months, Mayor <br />Young noted she will bring additional reports from EBDA on the Clean Water Act and <br />other important water issues. <br /> <br />CounciJrnelnber Badger noted he attended the Alameda County Waste Management <br />Authority meeting in the Mayor's absence. Councilmember Badger reported the Trash <br />to Treasures awards ceremony was held, and he remarked the artwork created with trash <br />was truly amazing. He expressed disappointment that there were no entrants from San <br />Leandro in the competition. Mayor Young announced Waste Management will bring <br />the exhibit to San Leandro City Hall soon. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Conunittees <br /> <br />1. Airport Committee of April 22, 2003. Accepted as Submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule discussion regarding appointment of an altemate 1rom the City <br />Council to attend the joint meetings between the City and the Port's Aviation <br />Committee when needed. <br /> <br />By the consensus of the Council, Vice Mayor Glaze was chosen as <br />alternate to the Airport Committee. <br />
