l\HNUTES City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-June 2, 2003 Page 12 Mayor Young reported the nvo-year term on the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) Citizens Watchdog Committee will be expiring. The current appointee, Tom Dlugosh, is a San Leandro resident. Mayor Young asked the Council for suggestions for potential appointees. Mayor Young distributed cards and magnets containing information on the LA VMA project and a list of legislation from ABAG. B. Reports on City Council Committees 1. Finance Committee meeting of May 22,2003. Accepted as Submitted. Recommendation for City Council Consideration: a. Schedule for consideration at the next regular City Council meeting the adoption of the revised investment policy. By the consensus of the Council, this item will be scheduled on the agenda for the meeting of June 16,2003. b. Schedule for consideration at the next regular City Council meeting the implenlentation of a purchasing card program including updating of the Administrative Code to include a purchasing card policy. By the consensus of the Council, this item will be scheduled on the agenda for the meeting of June 16, 2003. 2. Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of May 22, 2003. Accepted as Submitted. Recommendation for City Council Consideration: a. Schedule for consideration at the next regular City Council meeting of approval to proceed with Phase 1 of the CAD/RMS transition project.
