CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Marie Lothrop led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Glaze, Grant, Santos, Stephens; Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: Member Nardine <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month for the Month of November 2003, <br />Jim Richardson, Office Coordinator, Community Development. <br /> <br />Jim Richardson was present to receive his award. <br /> <br />B. Presentation of Awards for League of California Cities Mayors and Council Men1bers <br />Academy. <br /> <br />Stacey Wells from the League of California Cities presented the League's Mayors and <br />Council Members Academy Basic Leadership Level Awards to Councilmembers Tony <br />Santos and Bill Stephens. Councilmember Glenda N ardine, who was absent from the <br />Ineeting, was also a recipient of the award. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced the following presentations made in the past month: <br />· The Mayor and City Council made a contribution from the Mayor's Community <br />Fund to the San Leandro High School Key Club. <br />
