Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Badger, Glaze, Grant, Loeftler, Nardine, Santos <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />2. !JllliSENTATIONS/RKCOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Glaze made a special presentation to Madge Basuino for receiving the <br />District 4 Leadership Award. Her name was misspelled on the original plaque so a new <br />plaque was presented to her. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments arc limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be detennined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br /> <br />A. Matter of Proposed Extension of Interim Urgency Ordinance Requiring <br />Discretionary Review of Certain Development Proposals Within the East 14th Street <br />South Area. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City <br />Manager Jenmmis gave a brief description of the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public <br /> <br />Greg Romani, Business Association of San Leandro South, 1338 1361h Avenue, <br />addressed the City Council announcing the formation of a new association to <br />address the concerns of the south San Leandro area. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />way public input is handled at City Council meetings and slaled he feels there was a <br />lack of public participation in the origination of the proposed ordinance. He stated <br />his opposition to extending the proposed teml. <br />
