Matter of Discussion Regarding City Council Committee Appointments. <br /> <br />The Mayor distributed her recommendations for appointments to City Council <br />Committees, Council Ad Hoc Committees and various Intergovernmental Agency <br />Board and/or Committee vacancies_ The City Council was supportive of the <br />recommendations as submitted. <br /> <br />The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2002-12, Matter of Discussion Regarding City Council <br />Committee Appointments. (1156) <br /> <br />The City Council accepted Mayor Young's recommendations for <br />appointments to the City Council Internal Committees, City Council Ad <br />Hoc Committees, and Intergovernmental Agencies, which will be listed on <br />the February 19, 2002, Consent Calendar Agenda for action. <br /> <br />M/S/C Badger and Grant. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />N. Minute Order No. 2002-13, Matter of Amendment No. 3 to the Council <br />Members' Handbook, Section I, Page 3, "Mayor/Council Compensation," and <br />Adding to the Reference Section, "Guidelines Regarding the Setting of the <br />Mayor's Salary" (includes the definition of "base salary" to be two (2) times the <br />amount of a City Council Member's salary, with a not-to-exceed cap of three (3) <br />times the amount of a City Council Member's salary).
