<br />10.2 <br /> <br />4. April is a month of changes for our City: <br />Thank Ray Davis, for his professional leadership dealing with <br />the traffic issues of our city. His career field is truly the <br />frontier of our community- traffic/congestion. E. 14th <br />Street/Bancroft were good attempts to change our patterns, <br />but...maybe a new traffic engineer can help us to move <br />differently. <br />Time to honor a secretary who models professionalism, care, <br />and flexibility. In my various careers, I have always tried to <br />respect those who keep us all connected. Our City Council <br />has the benefit of one of the finest- Denice'Hit is no easy <br />task to work for 7 independent electeds. Thank you Denice! <br />Time to begin renewal: commend Councilmember Badger as <br />he launches "Operation Clean Sweep". I hope all in our city <br />will enlist in this time to do our share and make San Leandro <br />shine. <br />Time to prepare to honor those students of our schools who <br />will soon be promoted and graduated to new <br />challenges/careers. I am delighted we will be meeting with <br />our two school districts to plan for the future: how best to <br />serve our children-our Future. <br />
