Reports on City Council Committees 1. Business Development Committee Meeting of April 11, 2002. Accepted as submitted. 2. Finance Committee Meeting of April 25, 2002. Accepted as submitted. Reconunendations for City Council Consideration: a. Direction to staff to prepare a resolution for the May 20, 2002, City Council Meeting implementing a Utility User Tax exemption for low-income Pacific Bell customers. b. Direction to staff to forward the proposed rate increases for Sanitary Sewer Fees to the full City Council for discussion in May and for a Public Hearing onJuly 1, 2002. c. Direction to staff to schedule the Capital Improvement Program lor discussion at the City Council Work Session on May 13,2002. 3. Human Relations Committee Meeting of April 10, 2002. Accepted as submitted. City Council Members ab'Teed a resolution regarding the term "minOlity" should come to the City Council for feedback and to the City Attorney for review. Council Member Loeffler reminded Council Members that National Racial Equality Day is tentatively scheduled for September 2002, but he suggested that we hold a local event if the national day of recognition is cancelled. 4. Approval for staff to move forward with "WinGov" Constituent Tracking System.
