She would like to schedule a Work Session to <br />develop a construction and demolition ordinance that requires the use or <br />recycled materials in building construction in the City of San Leandro. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. Business Development Committee Meeting of April 11, 2002. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />2. Finance Committee Meeting of April 25, 2002. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />Reconunendations for City Council Consideration: <br />a. Direction to staff to prepare a resolution for the May 20, 2002, City Council <br />Meeting implementing a Utility User Tax exemption for low-income Pacific <br />Bell customers. <br /> <br />b. Direction to staff to forward the proposed rate increases for Sanitary Sewer <br />Fees to the full City Council for discussion in May and for a Public Hearing <br />onJuly 1, 2002. <br /> <br />c. Direction to staff to schedule the Capital Improvement Program lor <br />discussion at the City Council Work Session on May 13,2002. <br /> <br />3. Human Relations Committee Meeting of April 10, 2002. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />City Council Members ab'Teed a resolution regarding the term "minOlity" should <br />come to the City Council for feedback and to the City Attorney for review. <br /> <br />Council Member Loeffler reminded Council Members that National Racial <br />Equality Day is tentatively scheduled for September 2002, but he suggested that <br />we hold a local event if the national day of recognition is cancelled. <br /> <br />4. Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of April 25, 2002. Accepted <br />as submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendations for City Counci I Consideration: <br />a. Approval for staff to move forward with "WinGov" Constituent Tracking <br />System. (2536) <br /> <br />Viee Mayor Glaze volunteered City Council Members Grant, Loe111er, and <br />Santos to participate in testing the new Constituent Tracking System <br />screens. <br />
