<br />Minutes City of San Leandro City Council Meeting <br />May 20, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> <br />Minutc Order No. 2002-31, Minutes of the Meeting of May 6,2002. <br /> <br />The City Council continued the mattei' of the approval of Minutes of the May <br />6, 2002, City Council Mceting to the June 3, 2002, City Council Meeting, in <br />order to discuss rcvisions regarding the Gencral Plan discussion. <br /> <br />No Votc <br /> <br />7.C Resolution Approving a Contractual Serviccs Agrcement with Community Design and <br />Architecture and Approving a General Fund Budget Adj ustment of Up to $100,000 <br />Relating to Preparing the East 14tl1 Street South Arca Development Strategy. Cost: <br />$134,500. Funding Source: $35,000 CDBG Punds; $15,000 Redevelopment Agency <br />Funds; $50,000 MTC-TLC Program; and $50,000 State BCD Downtown Rebound <br />Grant. <br /> <br />Council Member Loeftler asked jfthis resolution is equivalent to the N0I1h Area plan. <br />He stated the North Area plan was never completed so he hopes this plan is rnore <br />successful. Council Member Loenler stated he feels the City initiates plans but does <br />not take action. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-72, Resolution Approving a Contractual Services Agreemcnt <br />with Community Design and Architccture and Approving a General Puncl Budgct <br />Adjustment of Up to $100,000 Relating to Preparing the East 14111 Street South Area <br />Oevelopment Strategy. Cost: $134,500. Funding Source: $35,000 CDBCJ Funds; <br />$15,000 Redevelopment Agency Funds; $50,000 MTC- TLC Prograrn; and $50,000 <br />State HCD Downtown Rebound Grant. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />7.D Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and Calling for Bids for Davis Street <br />and Marina Boulevard Sewer Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 01-593-52-115 <br />(provides for rehabilitation of sewer lines on Davis Street {i'om Donovan Dlive to <br />Tlrrasher Park and Marina Boulevard from Doolittle Olive to Merced Street. Bid <br />opening date is June 25, 2002.). Funding: Approved in 2000-2001 Capital <br />Improvement Projects Budget, Water Pollution Control Plant Fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Locfller said the City has the Water Pollution Control Plant and <br />wastewater services but commented the community is concerned about the treatment <br />program. <br /> <br />City Manager Jenmmis clari fled that this item is a sewer linc rehabilitation project, <br />which is a budgeted item. <br />
