PUBLIC HEARINGS - REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker eard and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant recused herself ii"om participation and/or discussion of the <br />following matter based on her position as a Board Member of the Alameda County <br />Housing Commission. <br /> <br />A. Matter of Amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) <br />Between American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW) (assigned to San <br />Leandro Senior Housing, Inc.), San Leandro Investors, LLC, and the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro (provides additional funding for <br />the affordable housing project II)!" seniors at 232 East 14th Street). Cost: $gg7,53g. <br />Funding: Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Fund. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Amalia <br />Lorentz, Development Project Specialist, gave the staff report and recommended <br />Redevelopment Agency approval. <br /> <br />Suzanne Saucier, 144 Dexter Ave., Redwood City, representing American Baptist <br />Homes, addressed the Agency explaining the project in greater detail and urging <br />Agency support. <br /> <br />Bill Bonville, architect for the project, provided an update on the design of the <br />project. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />Dave .Jorgensen, 698 Dutton, addressed the Agency in supp0l1 of the proposed <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Dr., addressed the Agency regarding the proposed <br />agreement and asked for detailed information on Redevelopment Agency debt <br />citywide. He further requested detailed information on how the City expends their <br />monies, including employee's salaries. <br /> <br />John Klein addressed the Agency ll1 support or the proposed project and <br />agreement. <br /> <br />There being no further comments Irom the public, the Public Hearing was closed by <br />the following vote: <br />
